Laurus Technical Institute

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Laurus Technical Institute is here to assist you through the admissions process. Once you have requested information and spoken to an admissions representative, we will guide you through the steps to enroll in the program of your choice.

  1. Admission is open to all prospective students that have one of the following three items: 1) a high school diploma, 2) a GED, or 3) have passed the CPAt (Career Programs Assessment test) exam. If you do not have a high school diploma or GED, Laurus Technical Institute offers the CPAt to prospective students. Call the admissions department to get a schedule of the next available testing date.
  2. Applicants are required to interview with an admissions advisor and tour the campus and facilities. Applicants are encouraged to bring anyone to the interview that might be involved with making the decision to attend school. This includes parents, guardians, spouses, significant others or financiers.
  3. Applicants interested in financial aid will meet with a financial aid advisor to discuss financial aid and grant options.
  4. All classes are taught in English and require that students are able to speak, read, and write fluently.
  5. Applicants should be in good general health and have no physical disability which should prevent them from safe performance in the training program, or which would substantially hinder them in the successful completion of their training.
